Glahab Import Hub ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
When you register as a member, we collect your full name, email address, WhatsApp phone number, and your state of residence and nearest landmark within Nigeria. When you make an order allocation, we additionally process your payment details through our certified payment partner (we do not store full card numbers on our servers). We also automatically collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and page activity for security and performance monitoring.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is used exclusively to: (a) create and manage your member account; (b) process and fulfil your order allocations; (c) communicate order updates, batch status, and arrival notifications via WhatsApp or email; (d) comply with applicable Nigerian regulatory requirements; and (e) prevent fraud and secure the platform.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes. We share only the minimum necessary data with the following trusted service providers: (a) our certified payment processing partner, for the sole purpose of processing your transaction; (b) our logistics and customs clearance agents, to facilitate the delivery of your allocated goods to our Nigerian distribution hubs.
5. Data Security
All member data is stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted by Supabase (a certified cloud infrastructure provider). Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. Payment information is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner and is never stored on our own servers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your member account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be purged from our active databases within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
7. Your Rights
Under Nigerian data protection law (NDPA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@glahabimporthub.com.ng with your full name and Member Code.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via your registered email or WhatsApp number. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
